INVENTIVAT Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who is the controller?
This Cookie Policy explains how INVENTIVAT CONSULTANCY, S.L.U., tax ID (NIF) B44821544, with registered address at Calle Juan Flórez, 8 - 5º, 15004 A Coruña, Spain ("INVENTIVAT", "we" or "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies on https://inventivat.eu (the "Website").
You can contact us at info@inventivat.eu
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files downloaded to your device when you access a website. This Policy also covers similar technologies that store information on, or access information already stored on, your device, such as local storage (localStorage), pixels, session identifiers, tracking scripts or browser fingerprinting.
In line with European Data Protection Board (EDPB) Guidelines 2/2023 on the Technical Scope of Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, we apply the same rules to all these technologies as to cookies, regardless of their technical label.
3. Legal basis and consent
The use of cookies is governed by Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI), implementing Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, and, where cookies involve personal data, by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
Strictly necessary cookies are used without consent because they are essential to provide the service you request (Art. 22.2 LSSI) and, as regards personal data, on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the Website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics and other non-essential third-party cookies are only set if you give freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent by a clear affirmative action (Arts. 4(11) and 7 GDPR). They are not loaded before you choose, and continuing to browse, scrolling or closing the banner does not count as consent.
4. How we manage your consent
When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner is displayed offering "Accept", "Reject" and "Settings" buttons on the first layer, with equal prominence. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, in line with the EDPB Cookie Banner Taskforce Report (January 2023) and the AEPD Guide.
We do not use pre-ticked boxes, misleading colours or designs (dark patterns), nor do we make access to the Website conditional on accepting non-essential cookies.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, via the permanent "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Once you withdraw consent we will stop using analytics cookies, although you can delete those already set through your browser settings.
We keep a record of your choice to demonstrate consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR) and remember it using the inventivat-analytics-consent local storage item.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge provide this in their privacy menus. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the Website works.

Such transfers rely, as applicable, on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified entities or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, with supplementary measures where appropriate.
7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@inventivat.eu
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority. For details on how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the cookies we use or the applicable law change. If changes affect the purposes or third parties on which your consent is based, we will ask for your consent again.
